Mayor calls for respect in a letter. After the last Council unleashed verbal brawl, with Mayor Richard Fagnani that suddenly removed the session by inviting the two minority counselor, Beatrice Mantovani Crisafulli and Marina, about to talk about subjects not on the agenda, write to the Prefect, if they felt "a victim of abuse," the mayor has put pen to paper. "In the council," reads the letter sent to the directors, "we see a total lack of respect for my person." Addressing the "majority of the directors of opposition," laments "the arrogance expressed by Mantovani and Crisafulli in wanting to talk over the President and on issues not relevant." Or on questions in which the mayor had given a written response. "An arrogance," he continues, "who sent in an activity that brawl is extremely serious."
He appealed not to insult - the mayor has been called "foxy" by the minority and "rude" during an argument - and it is recommended that "extending beyond the reasoned discussion of its ideas or criticism motivated." For its part, Fagnani promises to be "flexible and available."
And here are the reactions. Constantine Turrini, PDL, speaks "the umpteenth inglorious Council chaired by Fagnani, self-proclaimed defender of legality and the will of the people, forgetting that 60 percent of the electorate does not think like him."
